Intermediate Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Deliver fit-up and relocation projects and Federal Infrastructure Program of Work within the NCR
  • Manage office accommodation projects in the federal government environment encompassing client requirements gathering and analysis, providing advice/making recommendations on design options and schedules, proposing material and finishes, giving presentations to clients and senior management, writing project briefs/status reports/proposals, coordinating project activities with the various trades
  • Providing space design options, activity schedules, financial estimates, contracting/procurement coordination, budget tracking and reporting
  • Providing advice and making recommendations to mitigate any non-conformity with Federal Real Property, PWGSC and TB policies, guidelines and regulations which will require further action or discussions and justifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years of experience managing office accommodation projects in the federal government environment encompassing client requirements gathering and analysis, providing advice/making recommendations on design options and schedules, proposing material and finishes, giving presentations to clients and senior management, writing project briefs/status reports/proposals, coordinating project activities with the various trades
  • 3-5 years of experience providing space design options, activity schedules, financial estimates, contracting/procurement coordination, budget tracking and reporting
  • The contractor must have 3-5 years providing advice and making recommendations to mitigate any non-conformity with Federal Real Property, PWGSC and TB policies, guidelines and regulations which will require further action or discussions and justifications
  • Ability to prepare and provide mount color layouts presentation boards and booklet for presentation when require The contractor must be proficient in using AutoCad for floor designs and MS Project for scheduling and MS Excel for financial tracking purposes. The tools, equipment and supplies will be provided by the Project Authority
